The scenic village of Engelberg is a 45-minute train ride from Lucerne, and offers visitors numerous unforgettable experiences. The Benedictine Monastery in the village gives visitors a glimpse into the lives of the monks that still live there. The Monastery’s Show Cheese Factory lets visitors watch cheese being made, as well as participate in the process themselves!
