Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Zermatt by train from the Swiss border or airport,

Overnight in Zermatt.

Zermatt

Explore Zermatt at the foot of Matterhorn, electric cars and horse-drawn sleighs and carriages with optional excursion to Gornergrat, Matterhorn Glacier Paradise or Rothorn.

Day 2

Explore Zermatt at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn or enjoy Gornergrat.

Overnight in Zermatt.

Glacier Express

Travel with the Glacier Express over bridges and through tunnels and enjoy the beautiful scenery passing by.

Day 3

Today you take a 3 hour journey with the Glacier Express Premium from Zermatt to Andermatt, change train in Andermatt and Göschenen from where the InterRegio takes you to Central Switzerland.

Overnight in Lucerne.

Lucerne

Shopping, nightlife, boat trip on Lake Lucerne, sightseeing in old town, Transport Museum, excursions to Engelberg, Mt. Titlis and Mt. Rigi.

Day 4

Excursion to the glacier paradise of Mt. Titlis at (3,020 m/ 10,000 ft) or the impressive Mt. Pilatus or Mt. Rigi.

Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 5

Return to Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland according to your own plans.
