Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Interlaken by train from the Swiss border or any Swiss airport.

Overnight in Interlaken.

Interlaken

Shopping, boat trip on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, excursions to Thun, Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren, soft adventure like paragliding, kayaking and hiking.

Day 2

Excursion from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch, at 3,454 m/11,333 ft the highest railway station in Europe. Breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps.

Overnight in Interlaken.

Lucerne

Shopping, nightlife, boat trip on Lake Lucerne, sightseeingold town, Transport Museum, excursions to Engelberg, Mt. Titlis and Mt. Rigi.

Day 3

Shopping, boat trip on Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, excursions to Thun, Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren, soft adventure like paragliding, kayaking and hiking.

Overnight at Interlaken

Day 4

After Breakfast

Rail trip by Brünig Express from Interlaken to Lucerne (98km/1:50 journey). Sightseeing in Lucerne.

Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 5

Lake Lucerne cruise from Lucerne to Alpnachstad (by train), then up to the Pilatus (2,132 m/7,000 ft) with the steepest cogwheel railway in the world (from May/June to November, during winter you take the bus from Lucerne to Kriens and a panoramic gondola from Kriens to Pilatus. Time at leisure.

Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 6

After Breakfast, get train for Zurich (1:03 hour)
