Zermatlantis Matterhorn Museum

Gornergrat

The Gornergrat Railway station is Europe’s highest open-air railway station. At the summit (3089 m above sea level), no less than 29, 4000 metre peaks, including the Matterhorn, can be viewed. The 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat provides a unique accommodation and dining experience.

Sunnegga - Rothorn

An underground funicular takes visitors from Zermatt to Sunnegga, a perfect place for adrenaline-pumping excitement with activities such as kickbiking and mountain carts. A gondola ride from Sunnegga takes visitors to Rothorn (3104 m above sea level) for spectacular views of the Matterhorn and its surrounding mountains.

Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

This excursion takes visitors from Zermatt to Europe’s highest cable car station. The viewing platform provides visitors with stunning views of 38, 4000-metre peaks and 14 glaciers. The Cinema Lounge at the summit showcases riveting footage of the region. Visitors can also take a lift 15 metres into the glacier to visit the Glacier Palace, a world of eternal ice.

Gorner Gorge

The Gorner Gorge is a 20-minute walk from Zermatt. A natural formation created by the river “Gornera” many years ago, it is marked by bizarre formations and spectacular waterfalls. A secured path with galleries and wooden bridges allows visitors to easily explore the gorge.
